Cantagallo is a Shipibo Conibo community located between the Flower Market and the Rimac River, near Barrios Altos. Along the banks of the Rimac River, for 16 years, a space where Amazonian customs survive through language and art. The community is home to more than 200 families, whose greatest economic support is the work carried out by artisan women, the majority coming from Bajo Ucayali. They currently live in a conflictive relationship with the State, which tried to evict them on different occasions.
